First there was nothing...

Then there was bamboo, and now there is me.

Welcome everyone that is interested in the excellent art of fly fishing. Here I will try to share some of the tips and tricks that have helped me on my fly fishing, and tying journey. As with many things in life, I believe that fly fishing isn't something that you ever can master to a 100%. It's pretty much like Texas Hold' em - a minute to learn, a life time to master.

When it comes to fly fishing, and tying I consider my skills to be somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I started fly fishing for more then twenty years ago, but have never attended any casting, or fly tying courses. This will change when the spring comes, since my lovely wife bought me a casting course for a Christmas gift. Everything I have learned is from books and the wonderful Internet, combined with all the mistakes done by a lake, trying to figure out how to retrieve a fly that is stuck in a tree instead of floating on the water.

For now I will concentrate the content on fly patterns and gear, but as soon as warmer weather arrives, there will be more fishing related content.
